El Product Owner es quien gestiona la cartera de productos (Product Backlog) orientada a soluciones de Internet de las Cosas (IoT) y Servicios de Valor Agregado (SVA), con el fin de lograr el resultado deseado para estos servicios. Garantiza la validación y satisfacción de los distintos involucrados en los proyectos. Asimismo, este rol es clave en el desarrollo de alianzas y la dirección de las investigaciones en materia de los servicios de los cuales es responsable. Además, utilizando la metodología SCRUM, trabaja de la mano con el cliente y es el responsable de maximizar el valor del trabajo entregado y el producto desarrollado por el equipo de desarrollo.
