El desarrollador/desarrolladora Backend Ruby es responsable de escribir la lógica de la aplicación web del lado del servidor en Ruby entorno al framework Rails. Entre sus funciones se encuentran el desarrollar componentes de back-end, conectar la aplicación con otros servicios web y brindar soporte a los desarrolladores de front-end integrando su trabajo con la aplicación. Con la finalidad de entregar software de calidad, debe diseñar, crear y mantener código Ruby eficiente, reutilizable y confiable; además de integrar con soluciones de almacenamiento de datos; creación de componentes de back-end e integración de elementos orientados al usuario diseñados por el equipo de front-end.
