El Arquitecto de seguridad de la información es responsable de planificar e implementar la infraestructura en Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación necesaria de acuerdo a los requerimientos de la organización y las regulaciones existentes, añadiendo valor agregado a la organización y planificando su crecimiento en el futuro. Para ello, posee un alto grado de conocimiento sobre los procesos de la organización para definir la infraestructura necesaria para su óptima implementación.
