Frequently asked questions

Is the calculator free?+

Yes. The retention and exit cost simulator is free and requires no signup. It's a preview of Obrii App's talent financial engine.

What's included in the cost of hiring someone?+

On the labor costs tab we add gross salary, employer contributions by contract type (permanent, fixed-term, part-time, or contractor), and any extras you define — taxable bonus, meal allowance, and transportation. You get the real monthly and annual cost to the company.

Where do the figures come from?+

Reference estimates for 2026. Chile uses itemized employer contributions and Art. 161 severance (years-of-service indemnity capped at 90 UF + notice period). Other LatAm countries use aggregated reference employer load.

Does it work for my Latin American country?+

Chile is first-class. For Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Argentina we show retention cost with aggregated reference employer load; country-native legal severance is available in Obrii App.

Does it replace legal or accounting advice?+

No. Obrii provides talent management and risk projections based on models; it does not replace local legal or labor counsel. Validate regulations and figures with an expert in your jurisdiction.

What's in the full version in Obrii App?+
