What the test measures, its scope, and how to deploy it across your team.

What is the CESQT burnout test?
It's a self-report questionnaire based on Pedro Gil-Monte's CESQT model, measuring work burnout across four dimensions: work engagement (protective), exhaustion, cynicism (indifference or distancing), and guilt. Twenty items on a 0–4 scale.
Is it free and anonymous?
Yes. The test is free, requires no signup, and we don't store your answers: calculation runs in your browser and results appear instantly. It's a preview of Obrii App's wellbeing module.
Is the result a clinical diagnosis?
No. It's a screening and organizational wellbeing instrument for guidance only. It does not constitute clinical diagnosis or treatment. If distress persists, consult a healthcare professional.
How do I interpret my result?
You get a profile (no burnout, low engagement to watch, exhaustion with distancing, or a more severe pattern with guilt), a risk level (low, medium, or high), and scores on each of the four dimensions — visualized in a radar chart.
Can I measure burnout across my whole team?
Yes, in Obrii App. The team version lets you launch anonymous campaigns (minimum 3 responses to protect anonymity), get aggregates by dimension, an AI organizational diagnosis, and an executive PDF report.
