El mantenedor en procesos de soldadura avanzada realiza soldadura GMAW,SMAW,OXIGAS y GTWA con calificación 3G y 4G, de acuerdo a literatura técnica, aplicando las recomendaciones de seguridad de la industria y de la normativa legal vigente. Para cumplir con estas funciones, estas personas son capaces de preparar, ejecutar y concluir las actividades de soldadura con las calificaciones indicadas, identificando y resguardando las condiciones de seguridad personal, de los equipos, instalaciones y medioambientales requeridas en cada labor.
