El Analista de Datos de Vuelo recoge y analiza datos registrados durante los vuelos ordinarios para mejorar la actuación de la tripulación de vuelo, los procedimientos operacionales, la instrucción de vuelo, los procedimientos de control de tránsito aéreo, los servicios de navegación aérea o el mantenimiento y el diseño de aeronaves; también es capaz de investigar eventos operacionales, producir información objetiva y anticipada para mejorar los procesos de seguridad operacional y analizar y validar tendencias operacionales a través del Monitoreo de Datos de Vuelo siguiendo los estándares de calidad y la normativa nacional e internacional vigente.
