El desarrollador/desarrolladora Backend JavaScript es responsable de completar el diseño de aplicaciones y software utilizando el lenguaje de programación Java. Los desarrolladores JavaScript trabajan con sitios web, producen aplicaciones front-end y realizan análisis de código y mejoras generales de estilo y usabilidad. Con el objetivo de desarrollar software de calidad, debe comprender JavaScript, sus peculiaridades y soluciones alternativas; modificar diseños y especificaciones de aplicaciones complejas; analizar código, requisitos, riesgos del sistema y confiabilidad del software; comprender el manejo de solicitudes asincrónicas, actualizaciones de páginas parciales y AJAX, además de los problemas de compatibilidad entre navegadores y formas de solucionar dichos problemas; finalmente, debe estar familiarizado con los cargadores de módulos de JavaScript, como Require.js y AMD
